This would be one of the easiest icing recipes. This 2 ingredient Chocolate Ganache is the perfect topping for adding a little decadence to your cupcakes.
- 200g of Dark Chocolate (We used Lindt 90% to keep the carbs as low as possible)
- 1/3 cup (78ml) of cream
- Combine chocolate and cream in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir with a metal spoon until smooth. Remove bowl from heat.
- Set aside at room temperature to cool, stirring occasionally, until ganache is thick and spreadable.
NOTE: I also worked out the carbs using the Nestle Cooking Dark chocolate. Per serve of Icing the carbs came to 10.4g
