Bread Crumbs are used for so many recipes, from Chicken Parmigiana, to Stuffing for Roast Chicken to Lamb Chops.
Thanks to our friends at Lupin Foods Australia for this great recipe.
We have replaced the rice flour with our Low Carb Sunflower and Linseed Bread Mix to reduce the carb content (and increase the flavour!)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Low Carb Bread Crumb
Ingredients (mix together)
- 50g Almond Meal
- 100g Lupin Flakes
- 20g Low Carb Bread Mix
- Herbs if desired but not required
- Salt & Pepper to season
- Combine all ingredients together in a bowl.
- If using to crumb meat – make a simple egg wash of 1 egg + 1/2 cup of milk to wash over the meat first.
- Then place meat in a bowl of crumbs to coat.
Unused Low Carb Crumbing Mix can be kept in a sealed container in the pantry for 3 months.
