Mayonnaise is such a great accompaniment to chicken, eggs or salad on a sandwich.

Many supermarket brands do contain sugar and preservatives and its actually super simple to make your own.

Give this easy recipe a go and enjoy the creamy, yet tangy delight that is mayonnaise.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: No Cooking 🙂


  • 1 Whole Egg
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar
  • 200mL Light Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste.


  1. Place the whole egg, egg yolk, mustard and vinegar in a food processor and blend well.
  2. With the motor still running, slowly add the oil and continue to process until the mixture is thick and of an even consistency.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
